Since my son and I both had the 3rd off, we decided to revisit the old calvary camp. Today's finds after a four hour hunt were 16 additional bullets and 8 casings. One would think there would be coins in an area with the shell casing, but so far, not even a hint of one.

The shell casings read as '37' or dime, with the bullets reading from 27 - 32. The shell casings date from 1873 - 1886 There are two different type of casings - I'll try and take some better shots later on in the week to show the dates and the differences in the cases.

Today's finds were all found mixed together and not 'down range' like last weeks bullets/casings finds.

When the weather turns a bit cooler, my son and I plan to take a long weekend, camp out and really hit this site hard!
