Here are findings from my last two shallow water hunts.





Some Finnish coins, one key, silver pendant and silver ring.


Silver pendant with engraving "Anssi" (Finnish man name)


Silver ring
Text on it says: "Ystävyys on kultaa arvokkaampi" ie. Friendship is more valuable than gold.

According to its manufacturing markings it is not older than 1974.

The Key looks like a Laser cut Bank deposit key

It is an Abloy-key, most common key type here in Finland. This kind of keys are used in door locks, padlocks, lockers etc.

Yes it is. Actually there is only hole in the ice and water temperature is about 3C (~37F)



With thick wet suit it is possible to hunt about one hour before getting too cold.

How much Gold is the deciding factor.
Sweet Finds, Nice silver Fershure.
I lost the key to a $140 SS Abloy padlock,
still saving the lock hoping the spare turns up.
I remember putting it in a very 'safe' spot

Nice finds! I too have a valuble Abloy padlock and have lost the one key I had. I haven't seen the key in 10 years.
