1787 Connecticut copper & Beautiful Lc

Got out today for a short hunt at a colonial home sight and found 2 large cents a Connecticut copper and a nice colonial buckle. Thanks for looking HH

Very nice 1825 LC and CT copper! Finding a large shoe buckle intact like that is easier said than done! Two thumbs :thumbsup: :thumbsup:

Nice 1825 Large Cent, the Conn copper is one of the most common ones but also a popular variety due to the name assigned to it. It is a Miller 4-L variety, known as the Horned Bust. Easily identifiable by having only single dots on the Obverse for punctuation and the somewhat crescent shaped die crack on the obverse is diagnostic for that variety.

Beautiful coin, it may hurt the value but that dug green patina is BEAUTIFUL to me.

I looked at the Large Cent last night and yes, concur on it being a N7 variety. Low L seems to be there, wide date, and all the reverse features seem to be a perfect match....
