You know you had a bad day metal detecting when your best find of the day is a Hoe I gained access to a decent sized wood lot just out side of the city that was cleared and farmed at one time . I did a quick Purousel of the area looking for signs of old ! It didn't look too promising ! A couple late 19Th century early twentieth finds. the 1 toasted V nickle and the nice looking hoe blade were found close to each other . with the iron or steel baby spoon nearby as well. The only other coin keeper was a 43 war nickle, and I found a .48 lead roundball and a few pieces of old looking copper spoon pieces That's it ! Thanks for looking ! MaineRelic
