That does look like it has some age to it. I'm guessing it's a golf blazer button, possibly from Scotland?

PBK will probably be able to tell us more about it.

Rusted_Iron and Mighty AP have already nailed this one! Yep, it's a golf motif blazer button. The thistle is symbolic of Scotland, traditionally regarded as the birthplace of golf. (However, that claim is hotly disputed by some, who trace golf's origins back to the medieval Dutch, whose word for "club" was kolf, or even to stick & ball games played by the Romans.)
