Yes, I have a keyhole pic too but I wouldn't say it's particularly unique. This lock MIGHT be from the 18th or even 17th century based on where it came from. I'm also wondering if it was possibly made overseas...My guess which may be (and probably is) totally off is that it was made by French hands during colonial times. Something about the design pattern is triggering a distant memory of the image... :dontknow:

Not sure what the design represents, but it is a warded padlock made by the Fraim Lock Company.

See, I was right! I was totally off, lol. Thanks for the info! Sorry it's not as old as I thought... :-\ Here's an old one (early American) for good measure with another lock and some other goodies...The toy pistol was made by the Hubley toy company in the 1950's and the pocket watch was made in the 30's by Ingraham..
