Post office clerk's badge!

Found this awesome relic today. It is brass and if it was perfect it would be worth well over $50. It seems as though it was used between 1950 and 1971. Any thoughts on how to find out the name of the owner

Thought I found my first gold coin..turned out to be a painted penny.. Also a heartstopping fake ring.

Nice Badge Deb, I looked for some old photos of my Dad, he was a Mailman from just after WW2 till 1965, and this photo is from 1961 and in all the photos I saw of him in uniform it is only the Hat that has a badge.

Nice finds, I looked up on the web and found search=postal service badge, and a site came up called "arago". The site showed many examples of badges, yours is in fact a 1950's postal clerks chest badge.
