Interesting buckle eboy1960! :o

Looks to be in the "Eastlake Style" . . . possibly dates from 1890 - 1910? :icon_scratch:

Site looks promising for more interesting finds.

Dave

PS. I like your avatar . . . what's that a picture of?

That's a beautiful house and picture . . . I hope the house still exists? I hired an artist to paint me a picture of my grandparents house here in Toronto in 1982. Thankfully I did, because the house was torn down in 1993 after my grandmother passed away.

Here's a photo of the picture; the painting I had commissioned is the water colour. The others are a photograph that my sister took and a drawing that my cousin did in 1974. The house was built in 1890 and was one of the original cottages in the Toronto Beaches area. The numbers "110" are the original numbers, I took them off of the house prior to it being torn down. I also took out two of the upstairs windows, which I had restored and are now hanging in my hallway.

Thanks,
Dave
