Short, sweet hunt!

Seems lately the short hunts are the ones that produce for me. Today was no exception. 1hr spent at my general store/churchyard and it didn't disappoint, yet again!
Top of a spoon, which oddly is the 4th one i've found, but no bottoms yet
First coin up was a 1946 wheat
Second coin a few feet away was a 1941 Merc
Last coin was an 1894 Indian Head Penny
Finished it up with two chunks of trash and a button with 4 stars on the top and a wreath around the bottom half.

Looks like you got a little bit of everything. That's good!

Maybe those short hunts are best sometimes because your energy level stays high.

underarock, you aren't kidding! This spot has probably 40-50 trips to it already, all ranging from 30minutes-4hrs.
I will be going back again and again until it stops producing.

Indian Heads: 6 (1879 oldest)
Memorial pennies: 29
War nickels: 1 (1941)
Jefferson Nickels: 3
Buffalo Nickels: 2 (1921 oldest)
Roosies: 14
Silver Roosies: 1 (1946)
Mercs: 2 (1927 oldest)
Quarters: 21
Silver Quarters: 3 (1934 oldest) one semi-key date
James Monroe commemorative coin

Most were found with my old White's machine, but the etrac is now sniffing out all the ones under the junk and nails.
Not too bad for a spot that I can walk to with all my gear

wow!!!!! DJM your a lucky man. I have to drive to the nearest park to find clad.... 15-20 mins away...I plan on looking at the older places around and hopefully I'll find a place where I can get some old change also!!!

DK, still using conductive, just slowing my swing down a little now that i've gotten all the easy ones!

switched into TTF one day and got frustrated after 5 minutes, thing was beeping like mad. haven't played with it since. haven't need to for that matter!

that's a productive site.
BTW, those 2 trash finds are peices of the lead plates from a car battery.
They are scattered all over a site I hunt & baffled me until I dug the broken case.
