I like finding canadian coins too,but just love it when it's not the lady face and it's the guys face... on the older ones...Only found 2 so far of the older ones.

definitely cool finding the older canadian coins.

I picked up a '43 canadian cent yesterday and earlier this year found a 1922 canadian nickel.

Also earlier this year found an 1825 trade token. A short description of it is: It is a Canadian Colonial Token, Military bust obverse, "TO FACILITATE TRADE 1825" seated justice reverse. Charlton catalogue # LC53 most likely subvariety LC53A "open sleeve". $7 in VG, maybe $2 as shown.
