Short Hunt Before the Heat Hit - My First...

Civilman and I tried to beat the heat today. :icon_sunny: Considering it was 78 at 8:00 we didn't have long to hunt. We hit the woods and tried a field for a little while until it became an oven and we were baking. I was hunting an area where people do a lot of shotting practice so I found a lot of modern bullets, a few pieces of iron....but my best save of the day was my First 54. Not to bad for a short hunt....I'll take it! Thanks for looking and HH!

Nice recoveries Colleen!! It's in the 90s here today and was hot at daylight. Over here, .54 caliber bullets are found in early U.S. sites but are not near as plentiful as .58s. HH, Quindy.

Congrats on your finds. Nice dropped 3 ringers. I went out a while this morning in Maryland and it got to hot and humid to quick. Already can't wait for fall.
