Sweet early Seated HD!
if your button say 'Excelsior' it's likely a NY Militia.
but I think I see 'E Pluribus Unum', not sure...
please tell me what that banner says :icon_scratch:
Whichever it is, Great Find
Watching this one, I have a possible 'Waynes Legion' with similar eagle

Early 1800's E Pluribus Unum patriotic button. Looks like Albert's UU 132A or B ... Variety B is just Pluribus Unum .

I found one last year.

Nice finds for sure!

The button and the half dime are both sweet finds! I would like to see the cuff link you found. While certain styles show up frequently on Rev War sites, for instance Spanish coin facsimile cuff links, they also found on civilian sites. There are no regimental cufflinks that have turned up yet, nor any others that I know of can be attributed to any specific rev War unit.
