You know what eawoman . . . you're digging everything and that's exactly what you have to do to learn what your detector's telling you! :icon_thumright: It's going to take a few months, but eventually you'll start to understand your detectors language and you won't be digging so many bottle caps. ;D

I only started metal detecting 8 months ago and this is what I found today!

Thanks I am hoping the glint is real LOL.. I am new and I am learning how to be patient.. It is a lot of fun and I meet new people when I go out.. it is almost like an ice breaker... people want to know what I am looking for or what I have found.. Kids love it the most.

Dear Dave THANKS.. yes I am digging just about everything that is loud and clear... I am learning my machine and it is going well so far... Heading up to Alabama gold camp in a couple of weeks.. Happy hunting to you as well.. can not wait to find my first RING...
