Little Gold, Little Silver & First Pre 1900 Coin
I tried to meet up with a friend to give him some pointers on his new Etrac and before we met I hit a tot lot I have been eyeing for some time. I used the MXT and got a solid 14 VDI and pulled a 14Kt Star of David/Cross Pendant. This is my 4th gold of the year and third with my MXT. MXT is leading the etrac 3 to 1 on gold finds which is not bad considering I use the etrac 80% of the time. After getting the gold I met up with my buddy at the 1900s home site we hit recently. It is where I found a 1930's the Indian watch fob recently. After giving some lessons I headed to the hedge row and got a deep 12 32 on the etrac at 8". I dug it up and to my surprise it was an Indian head penny...my first. As I rubbed the date I said to myself PLEASE be pre 1900 as I have been trying to break that mark for two and a half years. 1899!!!!!!! YEAH! After cleaning, unfortunately, the indian had flaked but it is still an 1899. I also hit a volleyball court and park and managed several 925 ear rings and one ring. The ring is interesting as it is engraved on the inside 4-21-23-67. What it means I'm not sure.
