It was 100 degrees but a friend came down from Virginia and we hooked up with a buddy that manages a plantation.We dug over 100 flat buttons and a couple of beat up King george coppers. The only marked button in the whole bunch I turned up and here it is. I'd say 1820's, 1830's US navy.I'm going to have to wait for cooler weather I just can't take the heat like I used too :laughing7:
