Hello everyone! I haven't posted in a while due to a bit of a slump as well as being preoccupied with this and that. First, a humble apology is in order for not posting congrats on the spectacular finds that MANY of you have made recently and on that note,...CONGRATS!!!

Now, yesterday I got lucky and received word that my privy spot was half open (hay field) so I hit it for a few hours yesterday and a couple today. In those hunts I pulled several old buttons, musket balls,1879 IHP,tiny pocket knife,1905 V nickel, etc. However, on the way out today I was halfheartedly swinging back to my truck (broke the armrest on my detector) and picked up a sweet deep signal. After I pried all the field stones out of the way I saw this beauty (1764 1 Reale) gleaming up at me which happens to be my 5th Reale in just under a year of detecting! Thanks for looking and best of luck to you all out there! HH! :sunny:

"VTRA QUE VNUM" is Latin for "both are one", meaning that both worlds, the Americas and Asia/Europe shown on the two crowned globes, are in reality one world. That plus .9167 fine silver are a great combination.
Congrats,
Don....

you learn every time you use this sight!! I never knew that so many spanish people were colonists in USA until tresurenet! :headbang: :headbang: :headbang: :read2: :read2:
Hi and thanks! Just a quick heads up, I'm from Massachusetts and this area was settled predominately by the English. During colonial times colonies used currency from other countries such as England,Spain,Ireland,France, etc. Most of these countries had colonies in the "New World" and the coins they produced can be found right here in MA as well as several other states. Here's a map that can give you an idea...http://www.learner.org/biographyofamerica/prog03/maps/index.html

great find man i would love to find something like that. and if you have i minelab detector i think you can buy a metal arm rest instead of the cheap plastic ones, check on there website or just surf the net i know there there, i found a site that might sell them here it is hope this helps. http://www.minelab.com/products/consumer/accessories/shaft-accessories/arm-rest-aluminium
Thanks and I do have a Minelab but it's an Xterra 505.
Does anyone know where to find a metal armrest for the Xterra series?
