Great button! My partner and I found 2 this spring in a field that once had a homestead. The few Large cents that we found also ranged from 1826 to 1834. It is my understanding that the button has the New York state seal and it was a pre - civil war New York Militia.

Thats a nice variety of Silver ya found... Love them walkers... and a war nickle... Found my 1st War Nickle this morning, in my wife's change :headbang:
