"Turn of the Century" 1900's Park Finds...........

Good day fellow treasurehunters. Hope the metal detecting gods are smiling on everyone.

Well.........finally something to post on here in awhile. Jess, a good friend of mine, gave me a call last week and we got together to hunt what we beleive was a park that existed at the turn of the century.

Well, my 2nd and 3rd dig produced 2 consecutive Indianhead pennies, a 1902 and a 1903, which got me talking to myself, Well...................Jess must have heard me, he comes over not far from me and digs this 1907-D Barber Half dollar...................Totally blows us away. Total take for 4 hours work was a Barber Half, 2 Indianheads, 4 early wheat cents, and a metal army soldier. Sorry for the bad pic on the half. Going back next week.

Thanks for looking....................Rich

I remember the last Barber half I found - on a golf course here in Austin (with permission )... it was actually a semi-key date, too - 1894-0... You know you're onto a special place with finds like that.

Hit it hard.
