This morning I went back to the wooded park I hunted Friday afternoon . I went to a different section of the park . The Underbrush is thicker here and it made for a slower more difficult hunt . I am not going to try it in this section again until late fall or very early spring once some of the jungle has died back . I couldn't even swing in most of it . Today I got a surprise coin . An 1870 Spanish one centimos. 1870 was the only year they made this coin series . Not very valuable but a nice welcome addition to my dug copper collection . The big lead Rosette was a pleasant surprise as well . It was quite deep . I was thinking it might date back to the 18th century . If it does then this would be my first 18th century find from this particular park . thanks for looking ! MaineRelic
