Nice finds...congrats.

I'm always jealous when I see the Canadian 2 Dollar coins - loonies. I want a U.S. two dollar coin to get my clad amounts up...lol.

Congrats on the silver. 4 is a good day for most mortals.

Now go hunt for 7 hours.

Nice totals! Everyone should like the silvers, but I like most of the Canadian coins better than US. Except silver. Then I like most of the US better than the Canadian.

A lot of it, I think, is just spending the time to do it. Four hours. Try doing that a little longer, if the temps allow.

Went scouting today. A place where some HBC tokens have come out of, a little gold, a little silver. Didn't even take a detector, but I sure felt I was walking in footsteps everywhere.

Do you ever get that feeling: like there are footsteps older right where you are at?

Tuberale, I really think the older U.S. silver coins are really pretty as well. I do detect for longer periods when I can, but Working a lot and having a 2 year old daughter makes me a busy guy. And yes...I DO sense those "old footsteps" at some sites. Usually those sites have been picked clean lol!

ANTIQUARIAN, yes I live very close to the border, my finds are usually 50% Canuck, and 50% Yankee...makes it really fun.
