Well I know what you all was thinking... civil war... sorry... but the title is accurate...

Our lakes are drying up here and it seems people like throwing stuff in them... well I found these in a dried pup part of the lake... and I bet I left at least this many there... if not more... no I gotta find out what to do with them... I'm calling over a friend of mine is is a local police officer, he'll know what to do.

I was told by a local police officer that because they were in the water for a wile the gunpowder is no longer a problem but the firing cap could still go off if it just right... he said to toss them in to the garbage or bring them down to the police station... where I bet they would just throw them in the garbage too. What I would really like to do it get all the lead and brass and throw it into my ever growing scrap pile... but I don't know how to take them apart safely... yet.

it was all concentrated in a 3x3 area so I assume someone dumped it over the side of the bridge railing... maybe it was stolen... I was hoping to find a gun... but no luck...
