Today i managed to get out for longer than an hour or two. I hit a potatoe field i just gained permission to. There is a wind mill on it wich dates back to 1830. Sorry, i forget to take a pic to show. It is nice restored and is a museum now.
I expected some old finds there because these fields are a lot older than the mill, but i'm happy with what i got.
Had two silvers, prussian Silbergroschen, one real beauty from 1853 and one worn out with no date visible. The coppers are not cleaned right now, but also scrappy...
nice addition is a token from 6th company artillery regiment 35. Dates to WWII. Some lead, musket balls, forged nails, usual bullets, cal. 50 casings, thimble, knife handle, fragment of a gilded watch...
I had a good day out in the field with my detector and the dog.
