Hi Everyone,

Today I hit a spot that dates around 1870. I've been told that it been hit quite a bit for the past 5 years.
That may be the case, but the other guys left something behind...

That's my first ever seated dime. Yes, she's a little rough, but I love her anyway.

I also found a few other odds-n-ends.

Seated Liberty Dime, very large copper button cover (or locket cover?), Crown Brand B81 Button (overalls?)
pocket knife piece and what appears to be a large piece of pencil lead/graphite.

Some good digs here. I think I'll return.

Happy Hunting,

~Indiana Digger~

Getting silver is always nice, but, pulling a seated is a whole nuther trip :hello2: I only have two myself. They're becoming tougher to find, so, you should be mighty proud. I always seem to find them with the wheat stalks on top. I think barber dime, flip it over & it's a seated. Did that happen to you also? CONGRATS!!!

Nope, this one came "head's up".
I'm thrilled to find one - didn't think it would happen!
