I spent a couple days in my neighboring state of Nebraska over the weekend. I hit a string of small town parks near the town of Madison and unlike some of the other parks over there they were pretty stingy. I ended the day with a '11d Barber dime, a '17 Merc, a '52d Rosey and a sterling ring plus 7 wheats. On saturday I hit some parks while working my way back home. In one town I found the wounded '19d Merc and the '91 and '10 V nickels. I decided to try one last park in the town of Beemer then call it a day. I've been to this park once before and it is so big that it is a little overwhelming. I found the right spot this time. Way in the back of the park I started pulling silver, 10 more to make an 11 silver day. I dug the no date SLQ, the '18d, '42d, '56d, and 45 Mercs the '47d, '49, '64d, '60d, and 61d Rosies and 10 wheats. The oblong thing is a railroad penny. My total silver count last year was 257, after this weekend I am at 258 and counting. We have at least 6 weeks before we start getting frost so 300 is very possible! Thanks for looking and HH
