Folks just getting in & need to get cleaned up & eat,but thought I show you guy's my first hunt of the fall.It started with a old ring & ended with a Cob.Once I eat & get cleaned up & get the finds cleaned I'll post better pics. But my first hunt in couple months now & the first of the fall it's looking good for a ending of the year if the finds keep coming like today. :headbang: Iren has worked her magic as far as washing the banks away.So all is looking Good.

Cool..I can't wait to hit the NC beaches again. Plan is to head down with the family for Christmas break. Hopefully the beaches are still producing by then...

Cobs Rock! Ain't no doubt about that. Been a few years since my last and some day I hope to dig another. I have been very lucky at these having found quite a few, but that doesn't really reflect how hard they are to find here... rare enough that there's never a guarantee you will find another. So to me (and I'm sure to you as well) that's a pretty good day.

You guy's up there do great with numbers & other coin finds. And let's not forget those GW buttons  :D Something not so likely way down here. :( Hope one is out there to get under your coil soon.Of all my sites it's only one area that contians 3 sites on it with in a few hundred yards of each other that keeps producing these cobs.Theres other sites around the same time frame for finds but have yet to yield any cobs.
