Silver and Gold from The Shore!

I never thought I would be a beach hunter, but here I am! Whenever I get a chance to make the hour long drive to the beach, I have been hitting it!

I found the 18K signet ring last Friday. It weighs 5.3 grams. I swung by the same spot for about an hour today and found the silver Crucifix. It was one of the first targets I dug! The gold band is 14K and was found a few weeks back and weighs 7.3 grams.

The reality is that I cannot wait until the leaves drop so I can return to my colonial sites!

I have to agree with you Neil. I am 5 minutes from the beach but love to find the "old" stuff back in the woods. Of course with the price of gold, I have been tempted. Could use some new equipment! Nice finds.
