I am in Texas and I am smack dab in the middle of oil country... so this next find is kinda odd... why would supplies for Texas oil field come from Pittsburgh! You would think things like oil supplies/equipment would come from Texas.... I'm guess they had better/bigger foundries up north.

Anyways... I haven't found one of these in a long time... I sure do like watch fobs... they are a thing of the past just like watches... they are just not seen any more. I have some nice watch fobs but I like this one... it is silver plated... and some of its gone.... but its still a good looking trinket!

I know this isn't taught in Texas, but oil was first discovered in Pennsylvania. As in Penzoil. Careful, they will open up Alaska and make Texas the 2nd largest producer of crude.

Oh I didn't know that... Oil in Texas is responsible many towns and even large cities to be in existence today... with out oil many towns would not be here today!

Your watch fob is totally groovy! I was only in Pittsburg once many years ago but if my fuzzy ole brain recalls correctly, Pittsburg was (is?) smack dab in the middle of steel producing country, so maybe they supplied the steel for many oil wells, etc. HH Andi
