I've been hunting an old homeplace lately in between calling on customers and have come up with some pretty neat stuff. Here is just a few more. The quarters are 1908, 1928, and a no date - it's worn off plus some type of old buckle. I've covered about 1/3 of the front yard so far. The house was built in 1896 but the town was founded in 1817. About 2 miles down the road they found a 1787 Spanish Reale coin. I'll be around this town for awhile. It's about 50 miles from my home.

That no-date quarter kinda looks like 1918, doesn't it? Nice finds! I haven't found a standing liberty or barber yet. My wife found a barber quarter though. Hopefully mine is coming soon! Looks like you have a great place to hunt. I'd have a hard time leaving when it comes time to go!

I also found a gold braoch there that belonged to the owners mother and returned it to her so she said come back whenever I want. She is in her late 70's. Hopefully she'll be around for awhile.

Geeeeze!!! If I found those, people would be smelling my eggs and bacon every morning. Cause I would be camping there in my little pup tent. Even if my feet do hang out. Did I mention my head too? WTG!!! HH
