Today BigCreekDad drove down to hunt with me, and our first spot was an old homesite that was tore down many years ago, today it is a cut bean field. I got 2 indians fairly quickly after we got there, then late on in the hunt I scored a third. The best find for me from the field was the sterling pocket watch cover. I wish it wasn't so bent up, but it is what it is.

From there we hit a house in town and we both dug a bunch of wheats, but no silver for either of us there.

So I suggested to john we hit an empty lot I hunted earlier this yr where I dug some oldies. I put on my 6x8 coil because the lot was kinda trashy, and the first dig there I got the beautiful 1895 indian. I know I went over that spot before, but it had trash all around it. I managed to get one silver dime, a 1962 rosie, and one wheat. I got the "Love" ring there too, but like always it is NOT gold!

Congrats Terry!! That 1895 is a beauty!! I wish all the Indians I find in PA would stop looking like the 1907!!

Nice variety with some nice indians, and Silver.

Do you know the age of those shoe toe taps, or whatever they are called ?

not for sure, but they were dug in same field as the indians, so I would guess to say late 1800s

Awesome IH!

I'll bet you can sterling repair that pocket watch cover. It won't be worth much either way, but I'd work the dents out. They made my beat up trumpet look brand new, so I'd guess you could do it.
