Hello friends, first off its a beautiful day here in Central Pennsylvania. Was in the high 60s today, can't beat it for November.

Decided to do some easy diggin' at the old community swimming pool in Trevorton, PA. Was in operation for 40 years, closed down about 3 years ago. So, needless to say, there are 40 years of clad coins and rings all over the place. Can't go a few inches before you get a hit.

Anyway must of dug a hundred holes today, that stooping and diggin' got this young 60 year old his excercise today.

Goodies dug today were 2 quarters, 12 dimes, 12 pennies, and 25 nickels including 1 Buffalo, for a gas rebate of $3.07, plus 2 charms off a bracelet, and 3 rings. Back tomorrow at the pool area with jeff of pa. Thanks for looking.............Rich

Nice job on the rings!

I have been trolling around some pools lately (was out today in fact)--but no rings!

there is a community pool here that has been in operation for 50+ years and still going...if it ever closes down i would do anything to be able to hunt it!! The new ones going up now don't have any grass or anything around them for targets to drop...its all slip resistant surfacing over concrete...

do what My nephew & I did with a Pool Here,
that nobody seemed to want to step
up and say go ahead.

It is Still in Buisness but Attendance is Dwindling.

offer a donation IF You can hunt it on off hours.
They not only Gave us Permission to hunt it anytime we Want.
They called another pool who said
"Send them down Here :laughing7: "

of course ask first if you havn't already.
they may just allow it without having to bring up donation.
