I was detecting the curb across the street from my place that I had detected before and got a good sound and the numbers were jumping all over the place so I dug it. Well I'm digging mike walks over to see what I was finding. Mike is my detecting friend and lives next door.
First was the 1937 buffalo nickel, then the nail, next was the HUB token that has HUB on both sides, then the wheat Penney 1939,and mike went home and last was the SLQ no date.
I have detected this area a few times with the DFX and the E-trac and today I slowed down.

Even beat up, it's still a sweet find. That penny looks to be in great shape for all its time underground.

Sorry to have to tell you this but the buffalo has all 4 legs. Hope your eye gets better soon.
