Spent 4 hours with Dad on the Wheat Stubble field I got the Celtic Silver last Sunday(fog day). The conditions are bad with the grass tuffs at nearly 3ft high because of mild & damp conditions :tongue3: So to get what we did was a pleasing result;

10 Roman Coins
Livery Button :)
18th C Tombac with rose
Roman Lead Steelyard Weight
Jetton

Hammered Farthing Ed III circa 1340.

This has been by far my best year for tiny hammered :headbang:

Killer button :headbang:

What would a tiny hammered buy you back in 1340 ???

Blaze

A farthing or 1/4 of a penny would buy at least a good meal in the inn.

Great Day my friend. I've been on a TNet break for about a month but its nice to come back and see some nice relics and coins like these. Those farthings are so small, its amazing that any of them stay intact over the years. Congrats on a Nice hunt! :occasion14:

You seem to always come back with a nice pouchful of early artifacts. You definitely have access to some great sites. Keep 'em coming, and congrats on the mini-hammered.
