Once in a Lifetime Find
Well heres a 2 and a half ounce nugget I detected this past weekend in Arizona.
Surely doesn't happen very often.

Re: Once in a Lifetime Find
That's a good chunk. The biggest one I have ever got was about 1/10th of an ounce from Clear Creek California.
I was with a guy at the pay to pan area at Rich Bar on the Feather River about 10 years ago when he got a 3 ounce nugget out of a long seam in the rocks. It was shaped like a small golden egg and we flattened it on one side a little to make sure it was gold. One side had pick marks from the 49ers who had dug out the seam originally and hammered it farther back into the rear of the crack.

Re: Once in a Lifetime Find
I gotta agree, that's pretty banner-worthy. In the matrix like that should give it a signifigant premium.
I noticed that no-one really utilizes all the signature space provided, so I figured to be REALLY original I would make up the longest signature that I could and probably just leave it as one big run on sentence because all that punctuation just takes up way too much space-HH.

Wow, that is a beauty. The beautiful work of Mother Nature, I wish I was closer to Arizona! Quartz and gold, it doesn't get any better than that.
