While out detecting I was able to capture an awol soldier. The fellow was kinda heavy for his size, but I still managed to get him.

I then had to make a decision of whether to turn him in or not. I then took the time to weigh in the different factors. Taking into consideration his size and weight I finally came to a decision to let him go.

After all he had lead in his boots, so it probably wasn't his fault.

I went back to town to get some groceries. As I drove by that lot I realized that the soldier was indeed trapped against his will.

To the South Republican signs. North Democratic.

ANY soldier surrounded by politicians should indeed hide :).

TY yes it was a fitting and odd find I thought. Only item I found there other than the usual pile of trash. Rather odd because it was an apartment building for over 70 years I just found out today. As I finished looking at the site a man in his 60's stopped by and said he and his brother used to play there years ago. Of course he told me I would probably not find anything as most people that lived there didn't really have much.

The whole thing is odd really because that apartment building is in the middle of some of the oldest and richest houses in town. Wierd things work out that way eh?
