"a bayonet" ided by Slak jak as WW2 Australian Spike Bayonet
Hi all. Really humid today and quite warm. Well waited till late this afternoon and headed out to the forrest.Thought i try a new spot. The site was on the flat above a creek. Spent about an hour and didn,t a single target.I think because you have to climb up the side of a high bank on 2 sides most wouldn,t bother. Not even a stray bullet or spread of shot gun 4,s .Well the weather started to get blowy and quite dusty .The thunderstorms would not be far away. Started getting a few sharp sounds on the GPX. Yep thunder Gpx is a great weather machine too Time to leave slowly wondered back toward the road. Finally a signal loud flat belting sound of Iron. Had nothing to loose so dig a bolt , peice of fence wire and a what. Thats a first a bayonet > no idea on this sort of weapon but i do think that this one may have been sharped quite a few times as the blade is thick near the handle and gets thin quickly . Anyway glad to get something today.
