UPDATE : My French Rev War button turned out to be a regiment I'd never found!!!

a 10...... from what I've been told a very tight button to come by. Known as the Flandres Regiment, a detachment of this division was assigned to the Bourbonnais Regiment (13th ) in June of 1781 while stationed in Rhode Island. Whoever wore it had a long voyage across the Atlantic Ocean and walked a long way from Rhode Island to get to get to where I finally found it on the Peninsula of Virginia.
