So I got curious at lunch and decided to MD behind my office building on base. Found a number of pennies and dimes of no particular uniqueness but I did find this. Where the cartridge and bullet met, the brass of the cartridge had corroded. For me this is the great coolness factor: It is 70 years old. The base was maybe a year old when this was dropped. I have it on my shelf in my office.
