    1856 1$ Gold Coin "LT"/ 1823 Capped Bust half dollar/ 1853 Half Dime

    this 1853 Arrows half dime is my most recent half dime find... here is a close up pic of the half dime its in great shape..

    the gold coin and capped bust half are coins I found and never posted on a forum before mentioned them last week and have gotten a bunch of messages wanting me to show them so here they are.

    The gold love token was found in the middle of a town in a lot where they were tearing down a house in February 2006... tsgman was with me when I found it that day.
    The capped bust half was the second capped bust half dollar found at a site here in Mo. they were found about 3 weeks apart.. March 2005

    WOW!!! great finds, I am drooling....have found seated's but no gold or Bust coins as of yet...WTG!!! Not sure if I'd be thrilled or pissed to find the gold coin converted to a love token, i'd be thrilled with the gold of course, but not sure how I;d feel about it being damaged, altough the loves tokens are definitely unique and a SUPER find regardless!!!! WTG!!!
    So many promising sites to detect...so little time....

    Your finds are amazing but, I know you do the research! Beautiful coins and I have never seen a love token with a pin attached, wonder if it was made by a George Washington fan 50+ years later? That gold is an awesome find, that is two that I know of found by you. HH, Mike

    It's hard to imagine finding a bust half dollar. Guess it does happen. Amazing finds.

    Love those coins...That love token is just great.I love the beautiful work that the person who made it put into them. Doesnt it amaze you what fine craftmanship was done,without even a Dremel?
