On a previous trip to this site where I didn't find enough to post I dug this ornate button that cleaned up really nice. The first pic is after a rinse and toothpick cleaning. I decided at that point to jelly it and it came out great. The shank is still completely intact and straight as well. Not sure of the age but I'm guessing mid-to-late 1700s. Definitely one of my better looking colonial buttons for sure.

I went looking in my case because I know I've dug one or two very close to the same, but they must have been in poor condition and I didn't add them. But since I grabbed it here's three that are the same idea.
