? ? ? ? ? Today's finds? $11.14 all clad coins... but I did find my second
? ? ? ? 1 dollar coin? ?A 1979 Susan B. Anthony.? ?
? ? ?
? ? ? ? ? The ground is still part way frozen? ...... Makes digging slow,
? ? ? ? spent about 4 hours today at the park.

? ? ? ? ? This beats the HECK out of building Bird Houses.. I hate building
? ? ? ? Bird Houses? ? ? ?

I've been using a White's IDX Pro for the last 15 months.
I will have it paid for in found money, in another year, if
my luck holds. BRINK

Clad is what we call all our coins minted after 1964 except for the pennies. 1964 & earlier are silver. now their a mix of copper-nickel......Our halves were Silver-copperl Clad from 1965 to 1970 & then changed to copper-nickel also .... Pennies were copper till 1982, when they were changed to copper plated zinc so 1982 & newer pennies would also be considerd CLAD.... our Nickels havn't changed since 1946, however, I believe most of us would group them in as CLAD also. hope this answers your question? :)

Hey Brink, finding anything is better than sitting inside with snow and hard frozen ground like here in northern Vermont. (But I can build bird houses, the workshop isn't frozen).

Nice finds. There is only about 100 more days until our ground thaws....Lance

hey jeff of pa can you instuct me on how to start a post cant "find" out how?please help, found somethin cool, sort of for newbie,me!thanx DEKALB33 good info on clad or silver dates are note worthy for my notebook.
