decided to head up to another site that gave up 2 King georges in the past(Forino and myself both got one on pervious hunts).
alot of iron and only one good target from this cellar hole.a 1787 CT copper coin.headed back down the trail and spent the rest of daylight at a old house at the bottom of the old dirt road.4 wheaties,a few buttons and a clover ash tray.thought for sure more coins and buttons would pop out from this cellar hole using the relic mode over the jewelery/beach mode but it didn't happen.

You are still on a roll Dave. It's a shame the old clock key was broken. I like those old keys as you can only imagine the years when the clock was wound and how people lived back then. HH, Quindy.

Nice Conn copper :icon_thumleft: I like the third pic :laughing7: those vertical ones are usually missed unless your overlapping your sweeps at least in my experience . Without headphones I think that coin would have been missed :icon_scratch: :-\ ya agree ???

Nice hunt and another great copper, my friend. That area looks lovely. Hell, anything not covered in snow looks lovely to me right now. :laughing9:

Nice CT. You come up with some great finds. I have to get up to my home state of CT. again this spring. I remember lots of cellar holes, and a big long man made shelter made out of stones and covered with dirt in my woods travels. Arty
