I went on a short hunt to a very old area where I found the 1853 seated quarter a few years ago. I dug about 12" to 14" down and pulled out an old compact. I tried to open it just to see if there were any coins inside and a piece broke off. At the time I didn't see a coin in the handful of rust and powder, so I set it next to the hole and covered it the hole up. I took a swing around the hole and got a silver dime reading and saw a silver reeded edge with rust and stuff stuck to it, so I took the compact out of my pocket and saw another coin edge still inside it! The silver dime was a 1920? merc and the other coin was a 1919 buffalo. The two hotel key items were about 15" plus deep and belong to what is now the Grace museum here in town. A few years ago I found a older key fob for the Grace hotel in the same area, it looked more like a watch fob. Thanks for looking!
