Went back to the lumber camp again Saturday afternoon for a few hours. I wasn't finding to much. No coins, tokens or buttons. :'( Plenty of the 1900 version of the pull tab. (shotgun brass) and a couple odds and ends. One looks to be whats left of some kind of steel buckle and the other a brass female threaded lid to maybe a canteen or steel jug of some kind, There's still some rust seized to it. I'm going to put in a few pics of some of the broken glass I'm finding. Maybe I can find some unbroken bottles as time goes on. Good luck everyone Thanks for looking.

Hey! This looks like some of my post! :D
I can totally relate to those finds! ;) Maybe those shells can help you date the site. Hope the next trip you find those coins, buttons and tokens. :)

Keep huntin and good luck on your return...

Hi Nana and River Rat thanks for having a look. On this particular site I know the dates witch the lumber and turpentine mills were in operation. But your absolutely right I have used the old brass to date sites. I posted a couple Railroad buttons and a 1902 Barber dime from this same site last week. And yeah those broken bottles are heart breakers I'd love to find a whole one. Thanks again and good luck.
