Went back to Jackson today . I met a very nice M.D. hunter named Mr. Allen that walked around with me until the grandkids called as I get alot of times and he was enjoying watching me find the bullets . So here it is for today . 7 .54 cal. minnies , and the Yankees got so scared after ambushing N. B. Forrest & his men that they run off and forgot their Religious medallion .

Hidy TH . They are dropped bullets . I would have dropped every thing Too if I was one of them Yankees that ambushed N. B. Forrest men . He did not take liking to people that would ambush his men . He would DEFINETLY kill you . He would give any one ONE chance and that was all .

The religious item appears to had a cover on it. Might have been a relic originally. ( Usually contained a part of the saint or other person). Interesting find. I would say later than the other finds.

Hidy Lost. It had glass on one side , the other had been broke out . This spot was where the Union was camped . You dont find to many of these in C. S. A. Camps .
