Email from a good friend of mine that collects and searched for Native-American artifcats:

"Dave, I think this could be a prehistoric bead. If it is, it is an amazing and super rare find and I am jealous. I think the fact that it was found in the same place as a plummet and a Neville point is significant. I found another broken stone tool there, the tip of a large thick rhyolite point, very old. I can't find that book I mentioned, I will look again tomorrow. If you have time Wednesday maybe you could take it to the Robbins museum and see what they say?

crescent may be a gorget, they were military deorations and trade items for fur trappers.

I see a couple similar beads in your link,
the Native American artifact forum would be of more help.
how thick is that crescent piece?
could be gorget, any other holes we can't see
I'm thinking maybe inner pocketwatch plate, the early ones were big.

You're right, it's from a pocket watch.
