I got out yesterday and hunted an old home site on the river bank today.
The Home is from the late 1800’s the house is long gone. This place has been used as a party and camping location for at least the last 35 years. I have been there, done That.
The only thing that I found that I can say is from that era was the Garter Belt hook,
It was Patented in 1897. I also found a 1949 Wheat Penny.
The best find of the Day was 3 Bronze District Medals,
M.H.S.A.A
District
Basketball 1955 Champs Class D
Basketball 1956 Champs Class D
880 Relay 1954 3 Place Class D
These Medals are all on a little Sterling Sliver Chain.
Made my Day

I think those medals might have been for Boyne Falls high school

Boyne Falls would be about 3 hours North East of where I found the Medals at.
It is a Possibility.
Thank You

The medals on a sterling chain are nice! You got some gas money too. I don't think I have the patience to hunt a place like that, must be a gazillion and one pull tabs and bottle caps there. HH, Mike

It is trashed, but it was worth it.
