some nice bits, could your hand thingy be some form of aestel? the portobello medal is interesting Mount Vernon Washinton home was named after Admiral Vernon who won the battle of portobello

I'm clueless, although I have noticed at the broken end, a recessed slot, like you get on a tool that would pivot into itself. So I think its some kind of instrument but its function is a mystery to me.
