I am hoping that someone can help me ID this eagle button that I recovered in Virginia a couple of days ago. I have not been able to find it in Tice’s or Albert’s books. The button is cuff size, with no visible back mark. The eagle is facing it’s left with a lined shield on the front and holds what appears to be a
single arrow in it’s right talon and an olive branch in it’s left. Any help would be appreciated. :icon_scratch:

Looks like it might be a rare one, but need better pics. Use a flash or try shining a flashlight to the side of it.

I think you have a militia button, Albert's GI 63Bv

I can't tell for sure from your picture, but I think it is the same as this one I found.

Appears to be the same button. You found it Albert's? Guess I didn't look hard enough. See it now. Thanks, and awesome button! Where did you find your's?
