I'm back with more silver.

I've been off the forum for a couple months. First, my computer got all fouled up. After I got that fixed, I found out that t-net changed their format all around. And now I have finally figured out how to post with pictures again. I think.

I was still out there detecting all along and I would like to show you some of my finds, if I've got this figured out right.

Here are my silver finds for April:

Here are my silver finds so far in May:

Another Stander, also a 1920, but not in quite as good shape:

Hope this works. Thanks for looking.

Fantastic SLQ's, I think that they are my favorite ones to hardly ever dig!
I've dug maybe three with dates, and all in lousy condition.

jrandy, I use several different techniques for cleaning silver coins, if they really need it. Some of these coins did not need any cleaning at all. Some were just fine after running tap water over them. I use regular liquid hand soap and tap water to lift the dirt off of a coin. Sometimes that's all that is needed. If the coin has a black stain on it, I may use a little baking soda, just rubbing it on gently between my thumb and finger. You have to be very careful with this method, especially if the coin has some numismatic value. You may get some very fine hairline scratches on the coin. It doesn't matter if the coin is a common or bullion piece. If the coin has some green/black residue on it from laying next to another coin in the hole, I soak it in lemon juice. This will usually lift that type of residue off of the coin. Sometimes it will take a little gentle rubbing to get this residue off. But with any technique, try to avoid polishing or wizzing the coin up. Hope this helps you out. I know some numismatic purists will frown on any type of cleaning of a coin. But you have to decide for yourself how you want your coin to look.
