Lotta Keepers, last few hunts.
Been hitting cellar holes, an old school site and an old Hotel site. Probably 3 to 4 hunts all combined. Tonight I hit an old school/now grange bldg) and did pretty good with a nice 41 Walker and 51D quarter
also the small LETZEBURG 25Cmes 1954. picked up a few wheats and a heart pendant that reads "guardian angel of dogs" The Hotel site is where the 1950 rosie dime was, the green 1893 Vnickel was found on an old wagon trail at the cellar hole site. I apologise for the pictures, I wanted shots of the shoe buckle & the Cmes, and a few other things, but my batteries died. and these were batteries I stole out of the TV remote to use in the camera
you can see I used the shoe buckle frame to prop and photo other finds. anyway....found one coat eagle button and a few decorative ones. The chrome plated rosette with shields is from a saw mill site from aprox, 1820s, seems every time I go back there I get one or two good finds, the bottle was also found there (KENDALLS SPAVIN CURE) my research shows its 1870s horse ailment. Other items from the cellar holes are a silver plated watchback, moon and star bridal button and a midsize brass bell. The gun and horse trailer key were found in a grove near the wagon trail.
enjoy the show-

Great score on the rosie, v nickel, relics and turtle
I scored a couple of garter snakes a couple days ago and enjoyed watching them slither away when I released them.
